WINTER ESSENTIALS

January is definitely the coldest month of the year. With freezing temperatures and icy winds, comes flaking, dry skin, chapped lips and those nasty colds. In order to avoid the side effects of winter, I often change my go-to products and turn to heavy-duty nourishment, inside and out.
These are a few of my favourite winter survival products and tips to ensure you feel your best self in the cold months.

1. Lush SkinDrink Face Cream The best moisturiser for dry skin, packed with nourishing oils and butters. £12.50

2. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Hand Cream Keeps your hands soft and hydrated. £1.99

3. Crazy Rumors Lip Balm Gingerbread/Peppermint Twist  For supple, crack-free lips with a seasonal flavour! £3.50

4. Teapigs Spiced Winter Red Tea To keep you warm and fuzzy inside, bursting with yummy spicy flavours and naturally caffeine free. £4.50

5. Lots of kale, orange, kiwis Reinforce these in your diet, as they’re especially loaded with vitamin C among other essential mineral and vitamins to keep your immune system strong.

6. Lemon water It’s easy to become dehydrated in winter, so make sure to drink plenty of water. Lemon water is the perfect way to sneak in extra nutrients and minerals. Read more about the benefits of drinking lemon water here.

How about you? Do you take extra care during winter? I’d love to hear what your favourite winter products are!

  1. Hello there, I just read this article. It is very nice with very good info. I use lemon water every single day, not just winter. It is really great because lemon has too many strong benefits, the most important is that contains so much VITAMIN C, that the skin loves it.
