2011 Ain’t Over Yet

This year is practically in its last stage. Though 2011 is almost over, you still have 90 days until a whole new year begins!
So, have you fulfilled your resolutions for 2011? Or have you been through it in autopilot? Well, the good thing is you still have plenty of time to make the most out of what’s left of 2011! But don’t slack because time flies fast as the clock continues to tick. Remember every day you get to live is a blessing, it isn’t for nothing when people say “Live each day as if it is your last”. It’s because one day it eventually will.

Of course it’s not rainbows and butterflies every day and although your boss doesn’t throw a party at the office when you arrive and you still haven’t won the lottery, you have to focus on the little things. Find the happiness within. What makes you happy? What drives your soul? Is it enjoying your first cup of hot coffee in the morning secretly wishing your day will be great, your day job, finding a lost four leaf clover by the sidewalk, kissing your lovers lips?
Simply put for me it’s enjoying every breath you take in this life no matter what happens. It took me quite some time to learn how to be focused but I feel I’m on the right track now. You got to stay positive and focused and always look at the bright side of every situation.

«If you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of the world. If you have money in the bank, your wallet, and some spare change you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness you are more blessed than the million people who will not survive this week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the agony of imprisonment or torture, or the horrible pangs of starvation vou are luckier than 500 million people alive and suffering. If you can read this message you are more fortunate than 3 billion people in the world who cannot read it at all.», this really got me thinking and changed the way I look at things.

Put your life in perspective and question yourself. What are you aiming for? What are your goals in life? Have you been working enough to get there?

Be thankful for what you have. Do more of what makes you happy. Don’t settle. Quit your job, pursue your dreams, be fearless and conquer the world. Don’t forget that inner strength is the most powerful resource you have in hands, the power of changing the world by being your own God.

Have a marvelous sunday everyone,
